Privacy Policy

The Committee of Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information which the organisation collects, holds and administers. Personal information is information which directly or indirectly identifies a person. The privacy policy provides a framework for Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company in dealing with privacy considerations.

Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company collects and administers a range of personal information for the purposes of contacting and informing members and matching skills of members with production tasks. The committee is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, holds and administers.

Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company recognises the essential right of individuals to have their information administered in ways which they would reasonably expect – protected on one hand and made accessible to them on the other. These privacy values are reflected in and supported by our core values and philosophies.

Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company is bound by Victorian Privacy Laws, the Information Privacy Act 2000, as well as other laws, which impose specific obligations when it comes to handling information. The organisation has adopted the respective Privacy Principles contained in the Victorian Privacy Laws as minimum standards in relation to handling personal information.


Occupational Health & Safety Policy

Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company and its committee are committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the theatre environment for its members, contractors and audience. Because of this, Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company encourages all members to regard accident prevention, member welfare and safety as a collective and individual responsibility.

 

The purpose of this policy is to ensure members are aware of their responsibilities as members of Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company and under associated legislation and understanding that the BPLTC committee is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of members, contractors and audience.

 

In fulfilling this responsibility, all members of Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company have a duty to provide and maintain, so far as practicable, an environment that is safe and without risks to health.

Anti-Discrimination & Harassment Policy

Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company recognises it is the right of every member to be able to attend BPLTC sanctioned events, including meetings, rehearsals, functions, performances, etc without being subjected to any form of discrimination or harassment.

 

Equally it is the obligation and responsibility of every member to ensure that any BPLTC sanctioned event is free from discrimination and harassment. Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company is fully committed to its obligations to eliminate discrimination and harassment within the company.

 

The purpose of the policy is to outline Bairnsdale Production Line Theatre Company’s position on discrimination and harassment and to document the process which is to be followed should any grievances arise.
