The Heartbreak Choir - auditions

​​Prior performance experience is not essential and we are looking for a diverse cast of strong storytellers and vocalists. We promote an inclusive environment, encouraging all to audition and welcome performers from all ethnicities, beliefs, genders, representations, ages, and sizes to apply. Vocal abilities are important.

 

When applying for roles, please consider any casting requirements and representations stated with each character description. For the role of Aseni we are seeking an actor to play a migrant from Africa, a BIPOC actor (black, indigenous, person of colour).​​

 

Auditions are to be booked online using the booking calendar below select the day (Tues 8/7 or Wed 9/7) and then the time slot, fill in the details in the booking form and submit.​ An email confirmation will be sent to you.

Please make yourself familiar with the Information Sheet and Audition Pack found below which contain details of the production and audition process. Bring the completed Audition form to your audition.

Callbacks - if required will be held on Friday 11th July from 6:30 pm at the Wendy L Beckett Studio.

If you are unable to attend on either of the dates, talk to the production manager, as you may be able to audition on the same evening as callbacks.
